Hello, I’m Elliot Wengler!

I have been doing stand-up comedy for a decade. I am quite good at it. I got nominated for my first award in 2024, the Malcolm Hardee Comic Originality Award. This has included over a thousand gigs up and down the UK and around the world, as last year, I took my 2024 show, Jokémon, on tour in the USA, and am currently planning further international touring for the show.

I am beyond excited to be bringing my award nominated Pokémon based comedy hour to the ADELAIDE FRINGE with @gluttony_fringe . This is huge. Once again we're going to catch em all and tell jokes and stories all 150 Pokémon and the life and times of being the 16th best Pokémon player in the UK (2004). I am doing the biggest venue I've ever done. Bird heavy day part 2 Bird heavy day part 1: BIRDWORLD Leicester this is your last chance to see the award nominated sell out Pokémon comedy show Sad to say so its over, what an Edinburgh Fringe. Lots of new friends made, lots learnt. Learned that I CAN do two stand up hours a day if I need to and that Jokémon has sustainable repeatability audiences to it. Did more gigs than ever, did some of my best gigs ever, and some of my worst. I need to work harder on the other show and its ideas but that’s already bubbling away. I also had lots of enthusiastic merch sales, what a dream. Sunrise at Arthurs Seat is actually a stunning way to celebrate the end of the fringe And that's 80 gigs including 56 hour shows including 26 Jokémons. Jokémon is my award-nominated family-friendly interntionally-touring debut stand-up hour. I have performed it across the UK, the USA, and in 2026 will be bringing it to the Adelaide Fringe.
I Hope This Whole Thing Didn’t Frighten You is my latest stand-up hour about overcoming fears and body-shame, performed for the first time at the 2025 Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
Lolbot Wars is my cult game show in which I make comedians battle with words, wits and weapons. It may return one day, watch this space!
